Hello church! There has been a theme brewing, it’s all around us, in us, and we continue to stumble upon it. Sin, unrighteousness, unholiness, whatever you want to call it. And how do we get rid of it? We must come before God and ask him to take it, forgive us, and then we begin the recovery process from it. But how do we deal with it, if we don’t know it’s even there? Spiritual blinders. So this week, let’s pray for God to not only purify the church, His CHURCH, but for the Holy Spirit to put up a mirror to ourselves and reveal anything that is not from Him and gets in our way of a closer walk with Him. So let's pray! Jesus, Thank you that You are our Advocate! You are the Righteous One that atones for not only our sin, but the sin of the whole world, past, present and future! What an overwhelming thing to think about! The Church is far from perfect. We are in the world, but we are not to be of the world. We want to be a shining beacon of hope. Lord, help us to see our unrighteousness. Sometimes it’s blatant and obvious and shameful. But often times, our sin is right in front of us and we don’t even see it or we rationalize it or we cast blame and so it remains. Father, You know us; search us and see if there is anything wicked in us! Remove this condition of spiritual blinders from the CHURCH. We know that’s a big request, so start here, start in us. We want to be holy, as You are holy Lord Jesus. Holy Spirit, guide us in this quest and gently point out the things that are not honoring our Father. Thank you that our sin is not a problem or secret to You. You know us and You say we can approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Thank you that all those dark things have been covered by and defeated by the powerful grace that is yours in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. Steer us from calling good evil, and evil good; we need your discernment Holy Spirit! In the Name of Jesus Amen.

Hello church, The continent of Africa is just going to get baked with prayer this year. We are going to continue to focus each week on some element in Africa in the next year whether it is The Persecuted, Missionaries, or The Lost. We want to flood Africa with our prayers so that the Good News of God’s love can be brought and received to every tribe there once and for all! Nurmay Missions is a Christian organization in rural Kenya run by Christa and Abel Muanica. Together they run Nurmay Missions. They are in need of our prayers. Father, We thank you first and foremost for Christa and Abel’s serving hearts, the way they POUR out their lives for their community and those that surround it. Fill their cup Lord. Holy Spirit, we ask that you keep them inspired and strong, protecting their health, and keeping their marriage whole with supernatural understanding. Give them the energy and special wisdom they need to this great mission that You have called them to. Lord, we pray for physical protection for the kids of Gotani (two that participate in Bible Club have died this year). Guard their coming and going, and eating and drinking. Lead these little children to a FULL life in every way. There is a need for finances for the Mission Training Center, for the Nurmay families who are continuing their education as they provide for their own kids’ needs, and for the Nurmay Christian Academy which needs more room for ALL the children. There are 5 classes, but no room for the 3rd graders next year. PROVIDE abundant funds in a way only You can do! Guide Christa and Abel as they travel and network sharing the ministry needs of Nurmay Missions. Help them to make valuable contacts and long-lasting relationships. Father, the harvest is here, the need for funds is real and comes with it. Provide as you love to do! We know that community and togetherness is part of Your plan. We ask for a special unity of the brothers and sisters among the Nurmay staff and in this area, that they would strive for Your standards in their families and relationships, that love would abound. Keep them growing and learning and healthy strong! There have been some successful partnered events with the local health department. Please give clear direction to Abel and Christa if they are to move forward with more events and funding to do so if that is the way. Lord, You have said in Your word that when the harvest is great and the workers are few to ask the Lord of the Harvest and that you will send more workers to Your field. So Lord, we ask you for the much needed missionaries to come and work with Christ and Abel! Bring them equipped and ready to go! In the Name of Jesus Amen.
